How School Should Be Founded

Reading and learning about how school founds system works and the different ways that schools gets founded was fascinating, yet very disappointing. I was disappointed to realize that students in poor communities and urban schools don’t get that much founding’s to help them improve and meet all their needs as a student, while students at wealthy communities and rich big schools get more than they need. It made me wonder a lot why would such thing happen? Like why don’t they found the schools that are in need more because those students at poor communities receive low quality education which makes them fall most of their academic test.

In class that day me and my group tried really hard to come up with better fair way to found schools so that poor students are meeting all their needs and rich students are not getting less money, just to be fair. But it was a heartbroken to know that there is no fair way to really found school. For example, if you decided to found poor schools more and cut some of the rich schools founds, it won’t be fair to students in wealthy communities even they still have enough money. And if you said let’s be fair and equal and found all schools the same way meaning give them the same amount of founding, it still won’t be fair for students in urban schools because they will always need more founding’s than other schools. Therefore, you notice that there isn’t a fair way to do it, the only solution to this would be being more logic and pathetic towards poor schools, and found them more.

The other thing I’ve wondered about while reading the articles and analyzing the power point that you showed in class was why federal government is involved in the school systems and making lots of powerful decisions when they are only given 4.2% of founding to schools? Why do people who don’t have kids have to found in schools, from my perspective it should be optional for them therefore they have the right to found or say, “Heck no” and I think wealthy people should not just found the schools in their communities and the schools that their kids go to, they should found all schools despite the school location or the community that the school is located, despite how goes to that school. I mean if they just kept on founding the schools that are related to them we as a nation will have a huge gap between schools, and students, and test scores. We all need to realize that schools in poor communities won’t found itself because they people that live there are struggling to survive, and they might never have $1 to found a school.
